Our mission is to ensure our members acquire essential life and work skills applicable across the global economy. Originally established in 1972 as the Chicano Business Student Association, H.B.S.A.has been a vital resource for Fresno State students.
Our organization is founded on seven pillars:
- Leadership
- Tradition
- Excellence
- Education
- Community
- Professionalism
- Family
These values are integral to our organization, helping us elevate our members. H.B.S.A. welcomes all Fresno State students, regardless of their field of study. We are committed to promoting and encouraging an inclusive community where students from all backgrounds or identity feel they belong.
As a first-generation student, the work of this organization has deeply inspired me. I, along with our executive officers, strive to continue this monumental work. By empowering our members, we aim to benefit the entire California Central Valley community. H.B.S.A. is proud to lead the
way at Fresno State.
Sincerely,
David Hernandez
